General Terms and Conditions of WeLoveFurs as per 16th November 2023

1. Validity

Your orders are handled pursuant to the respective General Terms and Conditions in force at the time the order is placed. Our General Terms and Conditions, as amended, can be found on our website welovefurs.com/en under the menu item Terms & Conditions.  The contractual language is English.

2. Conclusion of the Contract

You can shop and order textiles online on our website.

Our offers displayed on our website are non-binding. Your order of the requested products is regarded a binding offer for the conclusion of a purchase contract regarding the purchase of the respective product(s). Immediately after your offer was delivered to us, you will receive a notice of receipt which shall not be regarded an acceptance of your offer. We are therefore entitled to accept your offer within a maximum of 3 working days by delivering an order confirmation via email to you. Your order shall only be regarded accepted if we confirmed its acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse orders without stating reasons. Since many of our products are produced upon order, we in particular reserve the right to refuse the acceptance of orders for identical products in different sizes. If we don't accept your offer within 3 working days, the offer is refused. Any product not listed in the confirmation email shall not be included in the purchase contract.

3. Delivery

The term of delivery of any product can be found at its product site and starts one day after the day of confirmation if the total purchase price, including VAT and delivery charge, was credited to our account.

In case a product is not available or cannot be delivered within the declared time, we will inform you about the delivery date as soon as possible, or alternatively, that the delivery cannot be supplied. If we cannot supply goods ordered by you, independent of actual fault, because our supplier fails to perform his contractual duties, we expressively reserve the right to withdraw from the contract. In singular cases the delivery may take longer than the delivery term declared on the product site, however, no longer than 30 days.

4. Information regarding the Right to Withdraw from the Contract

4.1 Right of withdrawal for customers from the European Union

Within the EU you have the right to withdraw from the contract within a period of 14 days in written form (i.e. by letter, email, fax) without giving any reason. In order to guarantee the quickest handling of a withdrawal from a contract we kindly ask you to take the following two steps:

1) Chose the section "Right to Withdraw" on welovefurs.com/en/contact-us and fill out the relevant data (your name, your order number, your e-mail adress) as well as the reason for returns in the message form.

2) Please send the returns in the original packing with original label to the return address, that you find on your invoice.

Right of withdrawal for customers from the European Union

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us, WeLoveFurs GmbH, service@welovefurs.com; Vorgartenstraße 129-143 / 2 / 1; 1020 Vienna, Austria, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. You can also electronically fill in and submit the model withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement on our website welovefurs.com/en/contact-us.  If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.  To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

4.2 Additional clause for returns from Non-EU countries (e.g. Switzerland):

Due to high delivery costs or custom charges for exporting goods from 50 Euros value to Non-EU countries, like Switzerland or Norway, WeLoveFurs charges 40 Euros for the return of goods from Non-EU countries. The 40 Euros will be subtracted when refunding the purchasing price of the returned goods, unless otherwise expressly agreed within the order-process.

WeLoveFurs does not assume any shipping costs connected with any return.

5. Prices

All prices shown are in Euro and shall be regarded sales prices including the legal VAT plus delivery charge. The delivery charge will be added pursuant to the following list as can be read under point 6. The delivery charge will just be refunded in case of returns from EU countries. The prices shown in the offer on the date of the order shall apply.

6. Delivery charge (domestic/abroad)
Please find the information regarding the delivery charge in the following:

a) within Austria and to Germany
The delivery of orders over 130 Euros shall be free from delivery charge. For orders below this value 5 Euros will be charged. 

b) to all other EU-countries

For deliveries in EU countries orders over 150 Euros shall be free from delivery charge. For orders below this value 12 Euros will be charged.

c) to Switzerland and Norway

Deliveries to Switzerland & Liechtenstein cost 19€ delivery charge. To Norway we charge 75 Euros, which includes all custom charges and taxes.

All orders will be sent by DHL, GLS or Fedex and will be delivered duty paid. We come up for all customs charges and import tax.

d) to the United Kingdom

For deliveries to the UK we charge 19,5 Euros. We send your parcel fully insured with DHL and deliver duty unpaid (CIP/DDU). As we do not charge 20% Austrian VAT to UK customers, the UK import tax of 20% will be levied on delivery.  

e) to Bosnia & Serbia

For deliveries to these countries we charge 35 Euros. We send your parcel fully insured with Fedex Express Service and deliver duty unpaid (CIP/DDU). As we do not charge Austrian VAT for orders from Bosnia, Serbia, Ukraine and Russia, all local duties will be levied on delivery.

f) to the USA & to Canada

For deliveries to the USA and Canada we charge 25Euros and to Australia 65 Euros. Orders above 200€ value are shipped for free to the USA. We send your parcel fully insured with Fedex Express Service and deliver duty unpaid (CIP/DDU). As we do not charge Austrian VAT for orders from the USA, Canada and Australia, all local duties will be levied on delivery. Delivery charges can't be refunded in case of return.

g) to Australia

For deliveries to Australia we charge 65 Euros. We send your parcel fully insured with Fedex Express Service and deliver duty paid (DDP) to a maximum order value of 800 Euros. We do not charge Austrian VAT for orders from Australia and we come up for all custom charges and fees. Delivery charges can't be refunded in case of return.

h) to all other countries

For deliveries to all other countries we charge 38 Euros. We send your parcel fully insured with Fedex Express Service. Delivery charges can't be refunded in case of return.

7. Terms of Payment

7.1 General
We accept payments by credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Paypal, Skrill, direct credit transfer system and payment in advance. All orders paid with credit card, Paypal, Skrill or direct credit transfer system will be handled immediately after our order confirmation was sent.

If you like to pay by prepayment, please wait for our order confirmation sent by email in which you may find all information necessary for the payment. After the amount was credited to our account, we will process your order.

All orders will only be processed after the amount invoiced was fully paid to our account.

7.2 Klarna Payments

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment methods. Payment is to be made to Klarna.
Pay in 14 days: The payment period is 14 days from shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service. You can find the complete terms and conditions for the markets where this payment method is available here: GermanyAustria and in Switzerland via BillPay.
Direct bank transfer: Available in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland and the Netherlands. Your account will be debited directly after placement of your order. Direct bank transfer is offered as stand alone version of Klarna Payments.
Direct Debit: Available in Germany, Sweden, Austria and the Netherlands. Your account will be debited after shipment of the goods or tickets/ availability date of the service ​or in case of a subscription in accordance with the timelines communicate​d. You will be notified about the date(s) by email.

The payment methods Pay in 14 days and direct debit are only available in case of a positive credit assessment. For this purpose, during the order process and handling of your purchase, we forward your data for an address and credit check to Klarna. We can only offer you the payment methods available based on the result of the credit check. General information about Klarna and the user terms per country can be found on klarna.com. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarnas privacy statement.

8. Warranties
Any and all warranties are subject to the respective legal provisions. In case of a complaint related to warranty, please inform us immediately via the form "Exchange & returns" on welovefurs.com/en/contact-us and indicate the data requested (order number, your contact details, cause for return of the product).

Please provide us further with a proof of the purchase date, i.e. an invoice and delivery of the article claimed including a copy of the invoice, per mail to WeLoveFurs Returns, Vorgartenstraße 129-143 / 2 / 1; 1020 Vienna, Austria. Regular wear and tear of the goods do not constitute a reason for warranty claims.

9. Product Liability and Care of the Products
Our products are of very high quality. However, we note that fur is a natural product and hence may slightly change over the time. Some fur types may also lose little animal hair over the time. Due to the natural condition of furs, colour or condition of products purchased may slightly differ from the product pictures.

Please observe the care instructions and cleaning information which can be found on the product labels. We do not accept any article in return which was damaged or changed due to incorrect care or cleaning.

10. 36-months-warranty

WeLoveFurs jackets meet very high-quality standards. Therefore, for purchases of selected products made from 16.11.2023 onwards, we offer a voluntary 36-month warranty that goes beyond statutory warranty and guarantee standards. This warranty includes free repair or exchange for the following damage cases:

seams between fur and leather parts, as well as on the outer material, that open up

buttons that come loose or have defects

zip defects

tears in fur collars that have not occurred due to rough external impact

fastening hooks or eyelets that come loose

any other flaws or defects indicating a product not properly delivered

Our extended 36-month warranty applies from the purchase date of 16.11.2023 to all products where the point '36-month warranty' is advertised under the product description. These notably include all down jackets, parka jackets, VOGUE & MAYA jackets, and VOGUE vests. The invoice with the purchase date serves as proof. To claim the warranty, simply send an email describing the flaw along with the order number to service@welovefurs.com.

Excluded from the warranty are the following cases:

Tears or damage caused by external impact (e.g., if the jacket obviously catches and tears as a result)

Stains or dirt of any kind

Material discoloration due to external influences (exposure to sunlight, improper cleaning)

Ordinary signs of use and wear (e.g., inner lining that slightly wears off or collects lint after a while of wearing; signs of use on the outer fabric, lint on knit materials)

Clumped down fillings caused by improper cleaning and excessive drying duration

Matted areas in the fur caused by repeated strong friction (e.g., sitting regularly on a fur jacket leading to such wear and tear)"

 11. Personal data - Privacy

Enquiry of personal data

We will use your personal data to accept and to process your order. If you agree, we will also use your data to send you our email Newsletter. This may be revoked by clicking a link in the newsletter at any time.

Use of personal data

The personal data actively entered by you shall be used for the purpose for which you provided this data. WeLoveFurs will in particular use your personal data to answer request and to process your order, i.e. processing of orders, delivery of products and payment transactions. Your personal data shall only be forwarded as deemed necessary, e.g., to the shipping company for the delivery of the product. Your payment information will be forwarded to the credit institution which processes your payment transaction. Upon completion of the contract and complete payment of the purchase price, your data will be blocked from further use. If you subscribe for the newsletter, your data will be used for our own advertisement until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time.

WeLoveFurs shall further save, change, transfer or use your personal data for its own business purposes, if

• required to establish, process or terminate a legal contract or a transaction similar to a legal contract with you,

• required by law or by an authority's or court order, or

• our action serves to prevent fraudulent use or other illegal activities, e.g. intended attacks on WeLoveFurs' systems in order to ensure data is protected.

WeLoveFurs will use this data to optimise the processing of your and other clients' orders. This data will be saved basically for an unlimited period of time. Furthermore, WeLoveFurs will use this data to inform you personally about products via email, provided your prior consent to be provided with such email.

WeLoveFurs shall keep all personal data in confidence and will not forward such information by selling or any other kind of commercialisation to thirds.

12. Applicable Law
Any and all disputes arising from or in connection with this contract shall be subject to Austrian Law excluding the Conflict of Law Rules. Contracts not attributable to the professional or commercial business of the entitled person (i.e. a contract with a consumer) shall be subject to this choice of law only to the extent mandatory legal provisions of the state in which the consumer is domiciled are not violated.

13. Severability
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is ineffective, the remaining provisions shall remain in force and unchanged.
